MY TREE LOOKS DISEASED IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS

My tree looks disease. What should I do?

When you're suspecting that your tree might have a disease, don't hesitate in contacting an experienced tree company! If your tree isn't looking right to you, it probably does have a tree disease.

Early treatment is very important because if a disease is allowed to progress to its advanced stages, it may destroy your tree! Many homeowners have no idea how they can tell if their tree has a disease, so you are not alone!

The arbor care company will have tree care specialists, tree doctors and an ISA certified arborist who are able to examine, analyze and assess the health status of your tree.

Tree company experts have extensive experience in the Texas tree service industry and are devoted to maintaining the high standards of excellence that the International Society of Arboriculture is known and respected for. When in doubt, contact the best arborist in Fort Worth, Texas

Are there warning signs that I should look for that help me find if my tree is disease?

Different tree diseases cause different symptoms to manifest.  The way they visibly are revealed on your tree does, of course, depend upon the variety of the tree.  However, there are some common signs that a tree is diseased, no matter what its variety is.

A THINNING APPEARANCE AND CANOPY

Lush, full trees are healthy and strong.  If your tree has bare spaces and an overall thinning, sparse appearance, it is most likely suffering from a tree disease

DEAD BRANCHES AND BRANCHES FALLING

Severe weather conditions and tumultuous thunderstorms may break off your tree's branches; however, a healthy tree will have branches that are generally flexible. If you see branches laying on the ground around your tree or notice that your tree has dead branches, your tree is infected by a tree disease.

SPOTS OR INAPPROPRIATE COLOR LEAVES

If your tree is healthy, the color of its leaves will be appropriate for its variety and the foliage won't have spots or blemishes.  Are the leaves on your tree looking like they've been burned? Is your tree exhibiting brownish or yellowish leaves?  If so, you need to contact an arborist that treats sick trees right away!

PREMATURE LOSS OF LEAVE

Have you been puzzled as to why your tree is shedding so many leaves?  When your tree is exhibiting premature defoliation and shedding its leaves in excess and out of season, it has a tree disease. Don't delay in contacting a tree expert when you observe early or frequent leaf shedding by your tree.

What can I do to improve the health of my tree?

Don't wait until your tree is severely diseased to contact an experienced tree company, take the proactive approach! Guard your valuable living investments and contact the best arborist in Fort Worth, Texas and request an official diagnosis by a tree doctor.

Early diagnosis and treatment is of the utmost importance!  There are a number of tree diseases that will kill your tree if treatment is not administered quickly!

A tree's health can often be restored in the early stages of disease.  The sooner that your tree is diagnosed and proper treatment is administered, the less damage the disease will do to your tree.

What can I do to keep my trees healthy so they don't get diseased?

Because of their vast study and experience in the Texas tree service industry, an experienced tree company has the knowledge that you need to advise and direct you regarding the following ways that you can keep your trees healthy and robust.

The highly-trained tree expert and ISA certified arborist will custom-design the perfect tree and health care maintenance program to ensure that your trees throughout your outdoor grounds are always in the best of health.

TREE HEALTH ASSESSMENT

During this important process, the ISA certified arborist examines your tree thoroughly and completes a tree evaluation report for you.

If your tree is declining in health and is vulnerable to dangerous tree diseases, the arbor care expert will advise you of the care that the tree needs.

The tree expert will determine the nutrients that the tree needs in order to be strong and healthy.

REGULARLY-SCHEDULED TREE PRUNING

If a tree's branches are overcrowded, it doesn't receive sufficient air flow through its foliage or adequate sunlight.

Regularly-scheduled tree pruning by a tree pruning service will correct these issues and guarantee that the health and vitality of your trees is maintained.

DEEP ROOT FERTILIZATION

This treatment is very important!  The highly-trained tree expert injects under pressure the specific liquid nutrients and minerals that the tree requires directly into its root zone.

Topical lawn fertilization doesn't feed your trees adequately!  Soil aeration occurs from the injected oxygen and the problems that compacted soil can cause are eliminated.

Trees that receive this important health treatment annually are 95% more resistant to disease and maintain a strong, robust root structure.

PREVENT WOUNDS

Trees that have been wounded or damaged are frequently targeted by insect pests and serious tree diseases. Accidental wounding can occur from regular lawn care maintenance, construction projects, weed trimmers and shovels.

Always entrust the care of your outdoor grounds to a professional arbor care company. They'll make certain that careless wounds don't happen to your trees!

CONTROLLED WATERING

Sprinklers may seem easy, but they tend to leave excessive moisture on your tree foliage and on your habitat grounds. This damp environment invites destructive fungal tree diseases!

Controlled watering by soil drenching or soaker hoses directed and overseen by an arbor care professional will ensure that your trees receive the correct amount of water that they need and that fungal tree diseases don't occur

I have a tree in my backyard, but it looks like it's sick, and its branches are all over the place, so I don't know what to do. I'm relieved you explained how pruning a tree's branches helps keep it in good health, so I'll find a specialist this week for the job and hope it's not too late. Thanks for the insight on how an overcrowded tree could need extra sunlight or oxygen.

I understand your concern about the health of your tree in Fort Worth, Texas. It's important to take action as soon as you notice signs of disease or distress in your tree to prevent further damage or even tree loss.

One of the first steps you can take is to identify the specific disease or issue affecting your tree. There are several common tree diseases in Fort Worth, including oak wilt, hypoxylon canker, and verticillium wilt. Each disease has its own unique symptoms and treatment options, so it's crucial to determine the exact cause of your tree's health problems before taking action.

I recommend contacting a professional tree service in Fort Worth to diagnose and treat your tree. A certified arborist can assess the health of your tree and recommend the best course of action. In some cases, this may involve pruning or removing affected branches, applying fungicide or other treatments, or even removing the entire tree.

It's also important to maintain the overall health of your tree through regular maintenance, such as watering, fertilizing, and mulching. Proper care can help prevent disease and promote strong growth.

Thank you for your question, and I hope this information helps.

These guys were great. Very professional and knocked out a big job in just a few short hours. They clearly knew what they were doing and went above and behind to carefully analyze the health of each tree, and what was needed. As opposed to trimming and moving on. I highly recommend. They did my neighbor as well.

Very happy in my dealings with Henry and his crew. Henry came out on short notice to provide some recommendations on trimming and keeping one of my pecan trees healthy. His crew was able to come out a couple days later and were very professional and efficient. They even took the bigger limbs that were removed and cut them down for firewood and stacked the wood. Will definitely work with them again for future tree care.

Had just closed on the new house with beautiful landscape to discover my cypress trees dying and other trees on the property looking ill. Called two other arborist before I discovered Henry. Though there was no saving my already dying trees; the others were diagnosed, treated and saved. Henry was not only knowledgeable but also professional, friendly and extremely reasonable. It is almost shocking to find people like him these days. Highly recommended to all!
